Tim Reber serves as coordinator for NREL's strategic partnerships and activities in Africa, where he provides strategic direction, programmatic alignment and project leadership to advance NREL's activities aimed at increasing energy reliability, affordability, and security with partners across the African continent. This includes work spanning power system modernization and digitization, energy access and energy poverty alleviation, and planning, procurement, and deployment of advanced energy technologies at both distributed and grid-scale.
