Personal Profile

Tony Jimenez has experience in wind, photovoltaics, hybrid project pre-feasibility analysis, wind data analysis, small wind turbine certification, and economic impact analysis. Past and current work includes leading the small wind Regional Test Center project, analysis of the potential economic impacts of large-scale renewable energy deployment, administration of the Native American Anemometer Loan Program, coordinating NREL activities under the Department of Energy Tribal Technical Assistance Program, and renewable energy project pre-feasibility analysis on behalf of a variety of clients. A retired Army Reserve Engineer officer, Jimenez has served twice overseas. He served as a project manager with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Iraq and as Director of Public Works for U.S. Army installations in Kuwait.
