Walid Arsalane is a researcher in NREL's Complex Systems Simulation and Optimization group with a background in computational fluid dynamics, computational structural dynamics, and structural optimization. His role includes development and deployment of efficient environments enabling management of frameworks, applications, libraries, and software. It also includes development of algorithms for large-scale scientific computations of complex fluid flow problems. Arsalane is aspiring to become a leading research scientist developing novel methods to solve challenging problems through large-scale computations.
