Personal Profile
William Michener has been with NLR for 24 years. Michener has a Bachelorette degree in Chemistry from The University of Colorado at Denver. Michener is responsible for running an advanced analytical lab, quantitating, characterizing and identifying compounds in samples utilizing GCMS, LCMS, and a myriad of other analytical techniques and instruments. Michener is responsible for the maintenance, repair, setting up, and training (mentoring junior staff) for all equipment located within the lab and others. Michener has volunteered and continues to be the designated area representative, electrical safety officer, and NLR electrical safety council member within the center. These duties require Michener to communicate extensively with all levels of personnel at NLR.
