Personal Profile

Yashodhan Agalgaonkar is a senior researcher at NREL. He is involved in research about power transmission and distribution operations. Yashodhan received a master's degree in electrical power engineering from the Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden, in 2006 and a doctoral degree in electrical power engineering from Imperial College London in 2014. From 2006 to 2010, he was at Converteam (G.E. Power Conversion), Berlin, Germany, as a senior research engineer. Yashodhan is a reviewer of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Transactions on Sustainable Energy/Smart Grids and contributes as an editor of IEEE Transactions on Power Systems. Yashodhan is the secretary of the IEEE Distribution Management Systems Advanced Applications working group.
