Personal Profile

Yueyue joined NREL in 2019 as a member of Residential Buildings Research Group. Her work focuses on energy modeling and data analytics. This includes improving capabilities of the Department of Energy's (DOE’s) EnergyPlus™ and OpenStudio® platforms to model new efficiency technologies and develop workflow with a common open-source platform to increase existing DOE rating program consistency.

Prior to joining NREL, Zhou was a graduate student at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she focused on advanced ventilation modeling, urban-scale energy modeling, and applying machine learning to energy use prediction.
