Abstract
As codes push for greater energy savings, production homebuilders must consider ways to reduce the energy use associated with HVAC system performance. One prominent and effective approach to reduce energy use is the transition of ductwork from unconditioned space (attics, crawlspaces, basements) into conditioned space.
