Abstract
For hydrogen energy to come into widespread use as a clean energy carrier and a fuel, it must be cost effectively produced from renewable energy resources. This fact sheet discusses advances being made in hydrogen production technologies, including photobiological, photoelectrochemical, and thermochemical methods.
