Advanced Power Electronics and Electric Machines: Overview

Research output: NLRPresentation

Abstract

The Advanced Power Electronics and Electric Machines (APEEM) research group within the Energy Conversion and Storage Systems (ECaSS) Center at the National Laboratory fo the Rockies (NLR) develops world-class experimental and modeling capabilities for designing and evaluating efficient and reliable power electronics and electric machines thermal management systems. APEEM researchers design, fabricate and characterize advanced power electronics packaging, and are developing state-of-health monitoring techniques. They deliver safe, reliable, high performing, power-dense components that allow seamless integration between energy sources, electric transportation, and the grid, helping increase the resilience and efficiency of our transportation and energy systems.
