Abstract
This newly formatted edition of 'AFDC Update' highlights various funding programs for alternative fuels, including the Department of Transportation's Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program. Also discussed are DOE's State Energy Program grants to support efforts to promote liquefied and compressed natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, and electric, methanol, and ethanol vehiclesor infrastructure. Additional stories focus on two new reports on alternative fuel bus projects recently released by NREL, and DOE's 'Guidebook for Handling, Storage, and Dispensing Fuel Ethanol.' (All three reports can be found on the Internet.)
