Abstract
This issue features articles on Executive Order 13031, which requires federal agencies to develop and implement ways to meet the alternative fuel vehicle (AFV) acquisition requirements of the Energy Policy Act of 1992; the Propane Education and Research Act of 1996, which will facilitate the creation of a council that will promote the clean, efficient, and safe use of propane equipment; and theNatural Gas Vehicle (NGV) Incentive Act of 1996, which would help remove some of the technical and market hurdles to expanded NGV use. Also included are a wide variety of stories on continued advances for AFV programs across the nation.
