Research output: NRELBrochure

Abstract

The lead story in this issue discusses the impact of federal highway taxes on liquefied natural gas (LNG)-powered trucks. Additional stories look at the fuel and vehicle economics of LNG; West Virginia University's Transportable Vehicle Emissions Testing Laboratories that are used to test the emissions from heavy-duty vehicles operating on conventional and alternative fuels; and afirst-of-its-kind liquid natural gas fueling station that could eventually set the standard for the way many of the country's heavy-duty trucks are fueled.
