Abstract
Highlighted in this issue are Ford Motor Company's recent introduction of the F-700, a medium- to heavy-duty truck powered by liquefied petroleum gas (LPG); Cummins Engine Company's production start-up of its B 5.9G six-cylinder natural gas engine; and an Australian firm's introduction of the Sealmaster, a new LPG refueling gas nozzle that some call the safest gas nozzle of its kind in the world. Also discussed are efforts by the state of Wisconsin, as well as an ad hoc alliance of alternative fuel groups from across the country, in support of the increased use of alternative fuels.
