Opportunities to use federal funds for alternative fuel vehicle projects have been limited; however, the one remaining federal program that must be tapped into by Clean Cities Programs is the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) Improvement Program. This guide will walk you through the basic steps of applying for CMAQ funding.
