Aquatic Biomass as a Source of Fuels and Chemicals

    Research output: NRELTechnical Report

    Abstract

The Aquatic Species Program (ASP) addresses the development of technologies that produce and utilize plant biomass species which naturally inhabit wetlands or submerged areas. Processes being developed through this program take advantage of the rapid growth rates, high yields, and extraordinary chemical compositions inherently associated with aquatic species.
