Assessment of Methods for Hydrogen Production Using Concentrated Solar Energy

The purpose of this work was to assess methods for hydrogen production using concentrated solar energy. The results of this work can be used to guide future work in the application of concentrated solar energy to hydrogen production. The objectives were to determine the cost of hydrogen produced from methods that use concentrated solar thermal energy, and to compare these costs to those ofhydrogen produced by electrolysis using photovoltaics and wind energy as the electricity sources.
