Cellulosic Biofuels in the USA: Progress and New Initiatives (Presentation): National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL)

Research output: NRELPresentation

Abstract

Presentation describes recent progress on advanced biofuels research and development in the United States. It explains efforts to demonstrate cost-competitive biochemical and thermochemical refining technologies and efforts at NREL to reduce the cost of converting cellulosic biomass to ethanol or mixed alcohols. New initiatives to convert biomass derived sugars, synthesis gases, and pyrolysisliquids to advanced biofuels are also discussed.
