Classification of Performance Rating Methods for Solar Domestic Hot Water Systems

    Research output: Contribution to conferencePaper

    Abstract

Solar domestic hot water systems are rated in many countries, and each country requires application of its own rating method. The rating process is expensive, and the various requirements are generally redundant. In order to compare methods and understand similarities, this paper proposes a basic classification scheme for rating methods. It is shown that methods being developed for European andUnited States ratings have the same classification.
