Abstract
This issue celebrates the success of the Second National Clean Cities Conference, which was held in Atlanta last June. Other program successes are highlighted, with articles on the Department of Transporation's Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement funding, which has reached nearly $320 million for alternative fuel projects since 1992; Thermogas, a national propane retailer that isexpanding the number of its public access transporation fueling stations; and the innovative new electric vehicle commuter programs being introduced in the Metro County, Florida, Atlanta, and San Francisco Bay areas. There is also a story on the National Parks' support for the Clean Cities goal of increasing the use of alternative fuels.
