Abstract

An analysis of the impact of solar generation under the Environmental Protection Agency's proposed Clean Power Plan using the Renewable Energy Deployment System finds that the proposed CPP results in increased solar generation relative to a no-CPP scenario and that the proposed rule produces fewer changes in the overall 2030 generation mix when future solar costs are lower.
