Abstract

This report focuses primarily on regulatory frameworks governing methane emissions from onshore natural gas systems. Methane (CH4) accounts for roughly 10% of anthropogenic greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, with one quarter of these methane emissions coming from the natural gas sector.
