Developing a Cost Model and Methodology to Estimate Capital Costs for Thermal Energy Storage

Gregory Glatzmaier

Research output: NRELTechnical Report

Abstract

This report provides an update on the previous cost model for thermal energy storage (TES) systems. The update allows NREL to estimate the costs of such systems that are compatible with the higher operating temperatures associated with advanced power cycles.
