Abstract

Polarization resolved transition dipole moment in InGaAs/GaAs quantum dots was investigated. The dipole moment of 8.8×10-29 to 10.9×10-29 Cm was observed depending upon the growth conditions of quantum dot. The analysis showed that polarization of the dipole moment was present exclusively in the plane perpendicular to the growth direction.
