    Abstract

    The U.S. Department of Energy's Office of energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) has six Regional Offices located around the country-in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Philadelphia, and Seattle. These Regional Offices, in cooperation with state energy offices, help communities utilize DOE's energy efficiency and renewable energy programs to address local smart growth concerns and improvelocal livability.
