Abstract

This report includes definitions of energy justice and equity within the framework of transportation technologies and deployment, discusses tenets of energy justice aimed to foster equity in energy and transportation projects, and provides a systematic approach to move equity and justice from theory to practice. The report also includes a focused overview of tools that may be relevant to addressing equity in EERE transportation projects (e.g., those that may help prioritize underrepresented groups or areas of intervention).
