Abstract
This profile provides a snapshot of the energy landscape of Guam, an island territory of the United States located in the western Pacific Ocean. Like many island nations, Guam is highly dependent on imported fossil fuels - nearly all the island's electricity is generated using imported petroleum products. This leaves it vulnerable to global oil price fluctuations that can directly impact the cost of electricity.
