    Abstract

    The FACES Program (Faculty-Applied Clean Energy Science) caters to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) faculty from Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) by honing their skills in clean energy science. FACES is a first-of-its-kind effort developed by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in collaboration with the Department of Energy's Office of Economic Impact and Diversity (ED) and Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE). The faculty-focused program was created to promote a diverse, equitable labor force in the renewable energy field.
