Abstract

This project's objective is to quantify the potential impacts of domestic terrestrial ecosystem carbon sink expansions on global agriculture production, land use, and emissions. It addresses the EERE decarbonization of agriculture pillar by assessing the impact of varying carbon prices on future U.S. and global agricultural practices and the resulting domestic availability of land for energy and commodity crops to meet U.S. energy and global food-feed demand and targets.
