Abstract
Decarbonization goals for the U.S. are emphasizing reliance on clean hydrogen produced from renewable resources. Hydrogen can be produced by splitting water, stored, transported, and converted to energy or chemicals. These activities require land, water, and energy. This fact sheet provides insight for federal and state land managers on the resources required to facilitate clean hydrogen production and related activities.
