Healthy Indoor Air Quality: A Guide to Understanding Pollutants in Extreme Cold Climates

Research output: NRELFact Sheet

Abstract

Internal air quality management through commonly supported recommendations in extreme cold weather climates is complicated by cold air infiltration. Air filtration and IAQ monitoring, through central and stand-alone systems can improve internal air quality to the benefit of occupant health and safety. This fact sheet includes reference information for pollutants, sources, health effects, and mitigation strategies.
