High Throughput Manufacturing of Thin-Film CdTe Photovoltaic Modules: Annual Subcontract Report, 16 November 1993 - 15 November 1994

    Research output: NRELSubcontract Report

    Abstract

This report describes work performed by Solar Cells, Inc. (SCI), under a 3-year subcontract to advance SCI's PV manufacturing technologies, reduce module production costs, increase module performance, and provide the groundwork for SCI to expand its commercial production capacities. SCI will meet these objectives in three phases by designing, debugging, and operating a 20-MW/year, automated, continuous PV manufacturing line that produces 60-cm x 120-cm thin-film CdTe PV modules. This report describes tasks completed under Phase 1 of the U.S. Department of Energy's PV Manufacturing Technology program.
