Abstract
This brief describes the unique capabilities and features of NREL's Hybrid Power Test Bed, which can be used by design engineers to evaluate hybrid power system performance, cost-effectiveness, and reliability. The Laboratory's research test bed provides U.S. companies with an excellent opportunity to develop, test, and evaluate new concepts with less technical and financial risk than is involvedwith actual field- testing at remote locations.
