Abstract
In 2024, wind energy continued to play a critical role in the U.S. electricity system, supplying 10% of national demand despite slower capacity growth. The report highlights key developments in land-based and offshore wind, major research and innovation efforts, market and policy challenges, and the environmental and economic impacts of wind power across the country.
