Integration of Renewables: Preprint

    Research output: Contribution to conferencePaper

    Abstract

This is an overview of renewable energy technologies, especially those that can be used for distributed generation of electricity or heat. It This paper reviews the types of technologies, their present usage in the United States, their advantages in terms of resources, availability, modularity, emissions, and integration in distributed energy systems. It reviews some of the history of their useand projects their growth and cost.
