Abstract
This article summarizes the findings of a 4-year study by member countries of the International Energy Agency R&D Wind Implementing Agreement. Findings show that wind energy use continues to grow worldwide, and the capacity of the world's large-scale wind power plants now surpasses 3500 megawatts.
