    Abstract

    This manual is a guide for analyzing the economics of energy efficiency and renewable energy (EE) technologies and projects. It is intended to help EE analysts determine the appropriate approach or type of analysis and the appropriate level of detail. It also assists EE analysts in completing consistent analyses using standard assumptions and bases, when appropriate. In addition to containinginformation on primary economic measures and fundamentals of finance, the manual focuses on the special considerations required in the economic evaluation of EE systems.
