Measure Guideline: Evaporative Condensers

Gail Werren

Research output: NRELSubcontract Report

Abstract

The purpose of this measure guideline on evaporative condensers is to provide information on a cost-effective solution for energy and demand savings in homes with cooling loads. This is a prescriptive approach that outlines selection criteria, design and installation procedures, and operation and maintenance best practices. This document has been prepared to provide a process for properlydesigning, installing, and maintaining evaporative condenser systems as well as understanding the benefits, costs, and tradeoffs.
