Abstract

In FY 1987 SERI studied the effectiveness of a variety of mobile home infiltration-reducing retrofits by monitoring 20 units in the field before, during, and after application of air tightening measures. In FY 1988 we began studying measures intended to reduce envelope conduction losses. This part of the project resulted in the development of a short-term testing method for measuring the thermalimpact of individual conduction-reducing retrofits.
