Abstract

NREL analysis will inform VTO on costs/benefits of DOE investment in an array of electric vehicle charging infrastructure technologies, trade-offs between residential and non-residential solutions, and cost of charging to consumers. Additional analysis will focus on vehicle sales, energy consumption, and emission impacts of meeting DOE technology target goals ahead of or behind schedule (timing assessment).
