National Wind Energy Skills Assessment (Presentation): NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory)

Suzanne Tegen

Research output: NRELPresentation

Abstract

This presentation offers a summary of the results from NREL's survey of more than 400 wind industry contacts as well as a limited look into education and training programs at colleges and universities. Research conducted reflects what types of jobs can be found in the domestic wind industry and training by employers. We also use the 20% Wind by 2030 projections to estimate how many new wind training programs might be needed to reach this goal.
