Abstract

As part of its Native American outreach, DOE's Wind Powering America program produces a newsletter to present Native American wind information, including projects, interviews with pioneers, issues, WPA activities, and related events. This issue features an interview with Dave Danz, a tribal planner for the Grand Portage Band of Chippewa in northeastern Minnesota, and a feature on the new turbinethat powers the KILI radio station on the Pine Ridge Reservation.
