Abstract

U.S. DOE and National Renewable Energy Laboratory evaluated Norcal Waste Systems liquefied natural gas (LNG) waste transfer trucks. Trucks had prototype Cummins Westport ISXG engines. Report gives final evaluation results.

Bibliographical note

One correction to the final report is necessary. On page 14, Table 4, Fuel Consumption and Fuel Economy for LNG Trucks (August 2002-July 2003), there is a minor error in the summary line on the bottom row. The data for truck 16116 were inadvertently left out of the summary totals. The LNG summary row should be corrected as follows: Mileage Used: 1,194,487; LNG (std gal): 438,766
