    Research output: NRELMarketing

    Abstract

This brief summarizes a recent NREL report (Order no. TP-463-7844) on the cost, status, performance, and environmental characteristics of conventional and renewable-energy distributed utility (DU) technologies that exist or are emerging. Utility planners and engineers can use data to screen DU options, thus lowering the costs and risks of generating and delivering electricity.
