Abstract

This presentation provides highlights from the published report NREL/TP-6A50-75431, which summarizes opportunities for Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Colombia to adapt to the new forces buffeting electricity sectors around the globe to ensure reliable, affordable, sustainable and resilient power systems. Special attention is placed on the potential role for natural gas to help ensure flexible and resilient power.
