Abstract

This document is the executive summary for the technical report titled 'Options for Resilient and Flexible Power Systems in Select South American Economies' that summarizes opportunities for Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Colombia to adapt to the new forces buffeting electricity sectors around the globe to ensure reliable, affordable, sustainable and resilient power systems. Special attention is placed on the potential role for natural gas to help ensure flexible and resilient power.
