Perspectives on AFVs: 1996 Federal Fleet Driver Survey

Research output: Book/ReportBook

Abstract

At the behest of the U.S. Department of Energy, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory has undertaken several projects to evaluate the performance and acceptability of light-duty alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs) compared to similar gasoline vehicles. The results of our detailed survey of federal fleet drivers were pretty good: about 80% of drivers surveyed indicated that they were verysatisfied or leaning toward being satisfied overall with their AFVs.
