Abstract
This paper describes recent developments for the concentrator photovoltaic industry, including signs that the industry is progressing towards a significant share in traditional concentrator markets, as well as developing products for markets not traditionally thought to be accessible to concentrators. The question of why concentrators haven't developed significant market share is discussed andevidence that the time may be ripe for the growth of the concentrator industry is presented.
