Abstract

This highlight details the key takeaways from a project that utilized NREL's Fleet Research, Energy Data, and Insights (FleetREDI) data analysis pipeline. A fleet electrification analysis using low-cost GPS loggers developed by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory found there is sufficient opportunity to electrify a remote transit bus fleet. The methodology can be widely applied to advance fleet analyses in settings where cost and ease of use are limiting factors.
