Screening and Characterizing Oleaginous Microalgal Species from the Southeastern United States: A Final Subcontract Report

    Research output: NRELSubcontract Report

    Abstract

Collection trips were made to Dauphin Island near the Alabama coast during the summer of 1984. Over sixty strains were isolated, and of these six were ranked as good growers. Two diatoms were isolated that are of particular interest because of their ability to accumulate high lipids.
