Abstract

The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and the Department of Energy's Office Strategic Priorities and Impact Analysis Office sought to address gaps in subnational energy data availability. This report describes the methodologies and analysis developed to estimate electricity and natural gas consumption and expenditures for the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors within each U.S. city.
